About Specialised Support Services

Specialised Support Services is an Australian Disability Services provider committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and person-centred supports that empower people living with disability to achieve their goals, exercise choice and control, and live meaningful, independent lives.

Specialised Support Services is committed to upholding the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of every participant by delivering evidence-based supports that align with the NDIS Practice Standards, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and a human rights-based approach to service delivery. We actively promote the least restrictive approach to care and support participants to reduce restrictive practices wherever possible through Positive Behaviour Support and capacity building.

FAQ

Who can access your services?

Our services are available to NDIS participants who have funding for Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination, Positive Behaviour Support or other eligible supports. We work with children, adolescents and adults across metropolitan, regional and rural South Australia.

Referrals can be made by participants, family members, carers, support coordinators, allied health professionals, hospitals or other service providers. Simply contact our team by phone, email or through our website, and we’ll guide you through the referral process.

Yes. We offer both face-to-face and telehealth appointments where appropriate, making it easier for participants throughout South Australia to access our services and receive ongoing support.

Our team combines expertise in Positive Behaviour Support, Support Coordination and Mental Health. Led by a Registered Mental Health Nurse and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner, we provide evidence-based, person-centred supports that are tailored to each participant’s individual goals, strengths and needs.
